Connect and synchronize

Prepare Shopify for accurate AI-guided shopping.

The current connection uses a merchant-created Shopify custom app Admin API token. It is not an App Store or OAuth flow.

  1. Connect the Shopify store

Enter the shop domain and approved Admin API token inside the merchant workspace.

  2. Approve required access

Use only the permissions required for the supported catalog and shopper experience.

  3. Import products and collections

Build the merchant-specific catalog used for product discovery and recommendations.

  4. Synchronize variants and pricing

Map product options, current prices, compare-at prices, and applicable availability.

  5. Review catalog readiness

Surface missing descriptions, images, variants, pricing, or information requiring review.

  6. Test and activate

Validate discovery, Q&A, variants, cart actions, mobile behavior, and the theme implementation.

Shopify analytics and attribution

Measure participation clearly. Prove causality separately.

WardrobeIt can record supported assistant, product, and cart events. Order and revenue outcomes require the necessary connection data and a documented attribution rule.

No commercial credit is implied.

Level 02

A qualifying interaction preceded a cart or order outcome.

Shopify integration FAQs

What merchants need to know before connecting.

The current integration is Shopify-first, custom-app based, theme-embedded, and merchant-controlled.

Book a Shopify Integration Demo
Does WardrobeIt integrate with Shopify?

Yes. Shopify is WardrobeIt’s current primary ecommerce-platform integration. Merchants connect through a shop domain and approved custom app Admin API token, then install the assistant through the supported theme snippet.

Is WardrobeIt available in the Shopify App Store?

Not currently. The present setup does not use App Store distribution, OAuth, or one-click installation.

What Shopify data can WardrobeIt synchronize?

Supported information may include products, descriptions, collections, types, variants, sizes, colors, options, current pricing, compare-at pricing where available, images, product status, and applicable inventory information.

Does WardrobeIt provide real-time inventory sync?

WardrobeIt uses webhook-driven updates and manual resynchronization. Public claims should use current synchronized availability rather than a universal zero-delay guarantee.

Does WardrobeIt replace Shopify checkout?

No. WardrobeIt supports product guidance, valid variant selection, and cart actions, then continues the shopper into the merchant’s existing Shopify cart and checkout.

Can WardrobeIt track Shopify purchases and revenue?

Supported internal assistant and cart outcomes can be tracked. Purchases, assisted orders, and assisted revenue require the necessary order data and documented attribution rules. Participation is not proof of incremental impact.

Does the integration work with every Shopify theme?

No universal compatibility promise should be made. Theme loading, placement, cart behavior, existing apps, scripts, accessibility, and mobile behavior must be tested in the merchant’s real environment.

Shopify-first guided shopping

Add WardrobeIt without replacing the storefront or checkout.

Connect the merchant catalog, install the supported assistant, configure Merchant Knowledge, validate product and cart journeys, and bring conversational shopping into the existing Shopify experience.
