Before you start

Free trial questions.

Clear answers about developer support, test stores, product data, team access, storefront changes, and the end of the trial.

Do I need a developer?

Most merchants should be able to follow the guided Shopify setup once self-service onboarding is available. A developer may help with custom themes, custom storefront behavior, advanced tracking, or non-standard commerce implementations.

Can I use a test store?

Yes. An eligible Shopify development or test store can be used to evaluate the trial workspace. A live production store is not required until you are ready to connect and review a real catalog.

Will WardrobeIt change my live storefront?

No. Creating a workspace or connecting a catalog does not automatically publish WardrobeIt to your live storefront. Storefront activation requires merchant review and approval.

What product data is required?

Supported information may include products, descriptions, collections, types, variants, sizes, colors, options, current pricing, compare-at pricing where available, images, product status, and applicable inventory information from the connected store.

Can I invite team members?

Team access depends on the selected trial plan. Exact user and store limits are shown in the activation terms before the trial starts, so every invited role stays within the approved workspace boundaries.

What happens when the trial ends?

End-of-trial handling is part of the activation terms shown before you start. Those terms cover billing requirements if applicable, cancellation routes, data handling, and upgrade options — without assuming automatic renewal or an invented default duration.
