This guide helps you understand the portal, find key settings, complete setup actions, and confirm that each change works correctly. The controls available in your portal may depend on your plan, account role, connected store, and released WardrobeIt capabilities.

The WardrobeIt Merchant Portal is the workspace behind your AI shopping assistant. It brings together store connection, catalog synchronization, assistant settings, Product Knowledge, recommendations, eligible Virtual Try-On settings, cart actions, analytics, integrations, billing, and account controls where available.

Portal Status Bar

Check store health before changing settings.

Start with the status bar. It shows whether the selected store is connected, synchronized, published, and receiving supported WardrobeIt events.

Store Connected

Confirms whether an approved ecommerce store is linked with the current WardrobeIt workspace.

Possible states

  • Connected
  • Connection Required
  • Needs Attention
  • Verification in Progress

Catalog Synced

Shows whether supported products and variants completed their latest synchronization.

Possible states

  • Sync Complete
  • Synchronizing
  • Needs Review
  • Sync Failed

Widget Active

Shows whether the WardrobeIt storefront assistant is published in the selected environment.

Possible states

  • Active
  • Preview Only
  • Disabled
  • Installation Required

Tracking Enabled

Confirms whether supported WardrobeIt usage and outcome events are being received.

  1. Select the correct store.
  2. Open Assistant Settings.
  3. Review the current welcome message.
  4. Update the available merchant-approved wording.
  5. Review any active appearance or brand settings.
  6. Open the shopper preview.
  7. Confirm the message on desktop and mobile.
  8. Save the changes.

Use only the brand and message controls available in the current Merchant Portal. Do not assume advanced voice builders or campaign-specific prompts are active.
